Kodak Ultramax 400 film is a worry-free, easy-to-use high speed film designed for snapshooters. This film gives you the flexibility you need to take consistently better pictures. Better low-light picture quality with fewer underexposures, better results with zoom lenses, greater flash range, better "stop-action" photos, and reduced impact of camera shake. Even when enlarged, UltraMax 400 Film delivers excellent sharpness and fine grain for crisp, clear pictures. Optimized colour precision technology provides consistently bright, vibrant colours with accurate skin-tone reproduction for natural-looking pictures.

An icon of the film world, Kodak was formed in 1888 by George Eastman and became so successful that by 1975 they sold 90% of all film and 85% of all film cameras sold in the United States were produced by Kodak. Unfortunately, the rise of digital photography and later mobile photography meant that Kodak’s success diminished, ultimately resulting in bankruptcy in 2012.

Fortunately the photography side of the business continues to operate today under the Kodak Alaris name. This means we’re able to continue using the Kodak films we all know and love, with Kodak further showing their commitment to film with the recent revival of the iconic Ektachrome 100 film.
